***The people who want a nanny state need to be reminded what a nanny is: the one who is in control of the children, which means she is in charge.

***Christians are not in the revenge business. Vengeance comes under God's job description. Remember the Pauline prayer for justice: "Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works."

***Why are people surprised when we give our legislators a blank check and they make it out for the highest amount possible?

***Don't believe these folks who tell you how much they love God when they haven't darkened the door of a church in years. You can't love Jesus and hate His bride.

***God help me remember today that I am not as important as I think I am.
